forest bathing in the land of dragons ~

no dress today, but a reminder of the importance of getting outside, 

out in the fresh air,

among the trees and nature.

Rather it refers to spending time in the woods for its therapeutic (or bathing) effect. Most of us have felt tension slip away in the midst of trees and nature’s beauty. These photos are from a series I call, 'from the land of dragons'. 

 The land of dragons is the name my girls gave to the place that I go when I take Scruffy for a walk.  One morning after I returned from my #scruffywalk during which I had posted a picture of some pod or leaf on instagram, both girls commented that from looking at the picture I posted, it looked like Scruffy and I went 'to the land of dragons'.  The name stuck!

It is very fitting that I stumbled upon this quote today,  I have been in a deep struggle for the past weeks about career/passion, financial security/art and the new realities that have appeared with the finality of my divorce! 

I am living an internal ping pong match, of my overwhelming need to create, make art and the ever plentiful and depressing tales about not being able to enough money with art to sustain a family!! blah!

But as I read this quote it spoke to my never sated appetite 

 to live LOUDLY, to make ART, to CREATE!!! 

so back to the drawing table to figure out how I am going to make this work!!!!

And on that note, keep an eye open for my coming soon ETSY shop!?!?!? 

I am planning to offer my dressmats (like the one above), 

dresscards, dressphotos and 

SO much more!!!!
